Monica & Jake

With 2022 coming to a close, I wanted to share the first wedding I photographed this year. I had the privilege of photographing Monica’s and Jake’s wedding on New Year’s day and it was such a magical way to kick off the new year. It was an unseasonably warm day and there was a light rain all day long. The rain made the day so romantic and gave me a new love of taking photos in the rain. My absolute favorite part of the day was when Monica and Jake decided to stop in a local bar with just their wedding party to talk and enjoy private time together before heading to their reception. Even though it’s been almost a year (ready to take those anniversary photos!) I still talk about this wedding because the whole day was just so magical.
